Refund Policy

At 1/1 Bakery, every product is made fresh and by hand in small batches. Because our items are perishable food products prepared to order, we follow a careful but fair refund policy to protect both you and the quality of our craft.

1. General Policy

All sales are final once an order has been confirmed and baked. We do not offer refunds for change of mind, incorrect orders placed by the customer, or delays caused by the customer's unavailability to receive the delivery.

However, we stand fully behind the quality of our products. If something is wrong on our end, we will make it right.

2. Eligible Refund Situations

You may be eligible for a full or partial refund in the following cases:

• You received a product that was visibly damaged upon arrival due to our packaging or handling.

• You received the wrong product or wrong quantity from what you ordered.

• Your order was never delivered and we are unable to verify a successful delivery.

• The product had an unacceptable quality defect (e.g., undercooked, spoiled, or contaminated) that is clearly our error.

3. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact us within 24 hours of receiving your order. Claims made after 24 hours will not be entertained, as our products are perishable.

• Your full name and order details (order number or date of purchase).

• A clear photo or video of the damaged or incorrect item.

• A brief description of the issue.

We will review your request and respond within 1–2 business days.

4. Refund Method

Approved refunds will be processed via the same payment method used during checkout:

• GCash / Bank Transfer — Refund will be sent within 3–5 business days after approval.

• Website Payment — Refund will be processed through the original payment channel within 5–7 business days, subject to your bank or payment provider's processing time.

5. No Exchanges

We do not offer product exchanges. If your concern qualifies for a refund, we will process a monetary refund as described above. We are unable to replace or swap products once an order has been fulfilled.

6. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:

• Change of mind after order confirmation.

• Incorrect delivery address provided by the customer.

• Delay or failed delivery due to the customer being unreachable or unavailable.

• Complaints raised more than 24 hours after delivery.

• Partial consumption of the product before a complaint is raised.

• Texture or taste preference that differs from personal expectation, as long as the product meets our quality standard.

RETURNS

Due to the perishable nature of our artisanal baked goods, 1/1 Bakery does not offer a "Change of Mind" return or refund policy. Once a product has been delivered and accepted, it cannot be returned for reasons related to personal taste preference, texture subjectivity, or if the customer simply no longer requires the item.

REPORTING WINDOW FOR DEFECTS

To ensure the integrity of a claim, any issues regarding the quality or condition of your order must be reported to us within three (3) hours of receipt.

  • Reports made after this window will not be eligible for a refund or replacement, as we cannot verify if the spoilage or damage occurred due to improper storage or handling after delivery.

  • Under Philippine law, we are not liable for defects resulting from the consumer's own mishandling.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

In accordance with DTI regulations, we will provide a replacement or refund only if the product is proven to be defective or not as described at the time of delivery. This includes:

  • Evidence of Spoilage: Product is unfit for consumption upon arrival.

  • Incorrect Item: You received a different flavor, size, or product than what was ordered.

  • Foreign Objects: Presence of unintended materials within the baked good.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned.

Unfortunately, refunds, returns, and exchanges are not accepted at this time.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.


Once your claim is validated, 1/1 Bakery will offer one of the following solutions

REFUNDS (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

EXCHANGES (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at hello@1-1bakery.com and send your item to us

LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS (if applicable)

If you haven't received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

SALE ITEMS (if applicable)

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.

GIFTS

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you'll receive a gift certificate for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn't marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

SHIPPING

To return your product, you may book a courier to us.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over ₱1000, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don't guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
